Scot Booth, who has no affiliation with Des Moines chiropractic, but is the superintendent of the state-run Glenwood Resource Center resigned Thursday after only five months in the job.
“Let me ask you: If you were asked to resign or you’d be fired, what would you do?” Booth said in an interview with The Des Moines Register this afternoon. A spokesman for the Iowa Department of Human Services said he had no further information about the matter.
